Santinelli Adds "Click Mode" to Lex 1000

HAUPPAUGE, NY (July 20, 2009) - Santinelli International, the leader in lens finishing equipment, is introducing "Click Mode" software for its Lex 1000 Lens Edger at this year's Vision Expo West. The proprietary software, which premiered on the company's ME-1000 model earlier this year, allows retailers and labs to easily fabricate Chemistrie Sunlenses on their lens edger.

Designed and distributed by Eyenovate, Chemistrie Sunlenses click directly onto the primary pair of lenses, using virtually invisible built-in lens magnets, embedded within the periphery of the lens surface. The sunlenses are customized to the individual patients' prescription lens base curvature and offer an ideal, affordable alternative to a full set of prescription sunwear.

Manufacturing the sunlenses with the "Click Mode" provides a competitive advantage and an additional revenue source for any practice or wholesale lab. As a special introductory offer, with the purchase of either model, Santinelli International is providing the "Click Mode" software, a full Chemistrie Sunlens starter kit, complete with necessary materials for five sets of sunlenses, and an attractive P-O-P Display.
